Lovable can ship crawlable pages. Now give them something worth finding.
Lovable's SEO foundation changed in May 2026. New apps use TanStack Start with server-side rendering, while older deployed React and Vite apps receive on-request prerendering for verified search and AI crawlers. Crawlability is no longer the blanket problem. Route-level metadata, useful content, structured data, internal links, authority, and an ongoing publishing system still determine whether the site earns visibility.

Where Lovable SEO still needs attention
Lovable can provide a strong technical base, but every deployed site is different. Check the live output and the publishing and upkeep work around it.
- Common Lovable SEO gaps:
- Older apps may return an SPA shell to third-party scanners even while verified crawlers receive prerendered HTML, so use Google URL Inspection for the final rendering check.
- Sitemaps, robots.txt, metadata, and other SEO elements are not always generated or kept in sync automatically. Lovable's SEO review can flag many of these gaps.
- Each indexable route still needs a distinct search purpose, title, description, canonical, headings, and useful on-page content.
- Relevant Schema.org markup, internal links, and evidence must match the actual page. Crawlability alone cannot solve them.
- A technically indexable app still needs a sustained content and refresh strategy to compete for non-brand searches.
Plug Perennial into your Lovable site
Lovable now handles more of the technical foundation itself. Perennial adds the ongoing content work: source-backed drafts, keyword inputs, internal links, structured data, refreshes, review, and connected publishing. Apps with a backend such as Supabase can expose the Perennial Content API and keep content in their existing data layer.
Setting it up
In Lovable, ask it to add the Perennial Content API endpoints backed by your Supabase tables or existing data layer. Paste our install prompt, deploy with your API token, and use Verify.

Why isn’t my Lovable site showing up on Google?
Do not assume rendering is the reason. New Lovable apps use server-side rendering, and older deployed apps use prerendering for verified crawlers. Confirm the exact URL in Google Search Console, then check whether the page has a distinct search purpose, useful content, metadata, internal links, structured data where appropriate, and enough authority to compete.
Can I add a blog to my Lovable site?
Yes. Once your Lovable app exposes the Perennial Content API backed by Supabase or another data store, Perennial can create and update blog posts in that system. Keep publication review-first unless the site owner has approved a different workflow.
