How does Perennial connect to a custom or AI-built site?
Your site implements the Perennial Content API, a small set of JSON endpoints (health, posts read/write, optional pages, taxonomy, and redirects) behind a single bearer token. Perennial then publishes and updates content exactly as it does for WordPress or Shopify. There’s a copy-paste prompt and a reference implementation in the developer guide.
What if my site is fully static with no backend?
You don’t have to build anything. Perennial can host your blog content and serve it to your static site, using the same v1 contract. Reach out and we’ll set it up.
How do I know my integration is correct?
Perennial includes a conformance tester. Enter your site’s URL and token, click Verify, and it probes every endpoint and tells you (or your AI builder) exactly what to fix until each check passes.
Which AI website builders are supported?
All of them, Lovable, Bolt.new, v0, Replit, Framer, Webflow, Base44, Cursor, Bubble, plus hand-coded sites. Code-generating builders can implement the API directly; closed/static builders use Perennial-hosted content.
